About the Author
Denise Alvarado was born and raised in the "Hoodoo Capital of the World," New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a ritual artist and independent researcher with degrees in cultural anthropology and psychology, and she has over 40 years experience in the conjure arts and mysticism. She is the author of several books, including the Voodoo Doll Spellbook: A Compendium of Ancient and Contemporary Spells and Rituals, the Voodoo Hoodoo Spellbook, The Conjurer's Guide to St. Expedite, and Gypsy Wisdom, Spells, Charms and Folklore. BOOK AVAILABILITY
All of our titles are subject to availability. Prices may be subject to change.
We maintain the availability of titles on our website as accurately as possible. Changes to our inventory are automatically uploaded to our website 2 times per day. They do NOT happen in real time. Below are brief explanations of the availability terminology you'll find on our website.
"IN STOCK": - This book was on our store's shelves and in our inventory system the last time inventory data was uploaded to our website. Please contact us to confirm the availability of a title before relying on this information. If you place an order and the book is not available at the time of your order, due to system error. We'll be glad to offer you a refund or a replacement book, of the same title or the same author, make sure to choose that in the wicked reads policy option when you place your order. If you do not make your choice, we will decide the best option for your order.
SHIPPING - Usually Arrives in 5-14 Days -your book should be readily available to either ship directly to you OR be on it's way. If you order it now, and it's delayed, we will notify you or ship it to you when we receive it from the publisher.
OUT OF STOCK - This book is NOT available. You can request to be notified when it is back in stock.

We ship orders via the US Postal Service ( I don't support no one else ). Orders are usually received within 7 to 14 business days. Arrival time depends on how far from Pittsburgh, Pa the order is being sent. If there's going to be a longer shipping time, we will contact you via email. Tracking information for all orders, regardless of shipping method, is available and will be emailed once your order ships.
RETURNS
All returns are handled on a case-by-case basis, subject to management discretion. Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items in their original, salable condition.
